James, you left out the Category: from the beginning of your category name on you last edit for Carkhuff-55. That is why you can't reach the edit page to add your category to the hierarchy.

If you think you need help completing this category's setup, just post back on this question.

Looks like ithas been fixed...

You can do this yourself:

First, open or create a Category for your cemetery on a profile that needs it.. It should read Category: Cottonwood Cemetery, Cottonwood, California — put it in double brackets[[ ]]   and Save it on the profile.

Then, you ‘ll see that it’s red which means the Category doesn't exist yet.  Cleck on the red Category and you’ll see a big Edit Box. Inside that box put Category: Shasta County, California, Cemeteries in double brackets, and also put Category: Cottonwood, California in double brackets.

Go to the bottom of that Edit box page and Save.

Everything should now be green and you can add your cemetery Category to othe profiles that need it.

(Or tell me which profile needs it and I’ll do it for you)

On trying to create a new cemetery category.

I clicked on the red category and it sent me to a screen which stated "The action you have requested is limited to users in the group Supervisors."
Now I’m confused. The category you requested is now fixed. It exists as Category: Cottonwood Cemetery, Cottonwood, California.  If yours still has the “Shasta County” in it, just remove that part and it should work.
I am Sorry. I really do thank you. I went back to Cottonwood cemetery and it was fixed. I then went to another cemetery and it came up with the red text so I clicked on it and came up with "The action you have requested in limited to users in the group Supervisors." So I have been working with existing Cemetery categories and studying their categories.

I would like to have a cemetery in  Magnolia, Montgomery County, Texas, but I almost hate to ask. It is called "Klein Memorial Park Cemetery". There are at least five "Klein similar names" in the area. The Klein website says their family own four and each one has a separate address. The one I need is "Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 14707 FM 1488, Magnolia, Montgomery County, Texas 77354, Cemetery ID #1970753, per their website. .All the "Klein's" may need to be listed to prevent confusion if that is possible.

I do thank you, Jim
