P. 51, second paragraph: my folks! The Ulster-Scots and the Germans!

I have a few of the books in this series. Really good summations of the history of the Old North State. Home Sweet Home!

Thanks, Arora. This one I didn’t have. I wonder if the Proprietors of Carolina, and then North Carolina, need a category of their own. Maybe one for Royal Governors, too. (Or am I just blind again?)

glad you have use of the book.  as for additional catagories I'm not sure, I've only grazed thru the the catagories quickly as work has me too busy.  I stumbled on the book while actually doing work research.  so as I come across others i will be posting them as well.

The best book that I have seen on the subject is The French and Indian War in North Carolina, The Spreading Flames of War by John R. Maass, 2013, ISBN 978.1.60949.887.0, Published by the History Press, Charleston, SC.
