What is your favorite historic photo of celebrating Independence Day?

I wanted to share this family photo of Mildred Brockman, known to her grandchildren & great grandchildren as Meme Mann with the community. Location: Crawfordsville, Boone County Indiana. Date: 4 Jul 1898.

What a treasure of a photo on forth of July independence celebration the children look lovely with there instruments, bet the had a wonderful day.

Great timing, what with the 4th just around the bend. A lot fewer stars in that glad than now. Love that house in the background. I hope the parking brake is on, or the little fella in the right is in big trouble.
