G2G: relationship finder

I had asked this question before, but I believe I was not clear, when I search say a relative I know is mine, Rachel Oliphant for example, I scroll all the way down to your genealogical relationship with Rachel, it shows my line how I am related to her, fine, I get that, however in some instances and I cannot remember how I got there, it's always by accident I wound up there, but I think if I click on a relative that I have in common with another wiki tree person, it first shows the link of that person down to the mutual ancestory we both have in common, in the midst of the line, I do see Throckmorton and it continues to other ancestors I was not aware of, is this I assume for certain based on all the wiki trees that have been done and researched and that I can feel pretty confident I am on the right path to move ahead?

Your assumptions are correct, with one clarification - there aren't "other" wikitrees, there is only one. In this case, Rachel Oliphant's tree is filled out to the point where she connects to the Throckmorton line.

As far as the validity of those specific relationships go, that's more difficult to say. Ideally only valid and confirmed relationships would be added, but that's not reality. To be certain, you would need to look at each individual profile in the line and see what evidence has been provided to support the parent relationships.
