Abbott and Mills family connection Nova Scotia

Greetings.

 I am trying to find a link between the Abbott family and Mills family of Nova Scotia.  Possible relatives of Rowland W Abbott, born in Nova Scotia, 1982-1894.

Hi DJ,

I live in Ireland. Did your 'ABBOTTS' originate from here. One of my Abbott's married a Mills and emigrated to Australia. I also have Abbott relations in Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania. My 9th great-grandfather came from Halstock in Devon, England  to Ireland in 1612 at the age of 20 during the 'Plantation of Munster ' in the Beecher party.
