Tech:  I need some help with my Apple computer.  I have both and iPad and a MacBook Air.  My eyes are starting to get a bit dim and cannot see what the white is saying on the yellow bits.  Can anyone with a MacBook Air advise me?

Depending on your version of MacOS, it sounds like you'll want to visit the System Preferences to adjust the settings for Universal Access.  In the Seeing pane under Universal Access, you should be able to change how the display shows contrast.  Adjust it to suit your needs, and hopefully it will fix this white on yellow issue for you.

I agree.  White on yellow is a very poor design choice.  Black text on yellow background would be much better.

Where does wikitree have white on yellow ?
Right you are, Ros, and thanks.

This should be the easiest of all the correct answers.

Jillaine, it's on the Wiki Genealogy Feed,in New G2G Activity. Every headline on mine is now invisible because of this design problem.

Am I mistaken in thinking that we can't change the colors on a message that's sent to us?

AND:  Please look at this--if we need to do even one of these, this is NOT what we see: You are receiving this e-mail because there was activity and discussion and new genealogists in the tags you're following on WikiTree.

WE COULD SEE IT, however, if the underlined items directly above were made to be dark blue, dark green, purple (but not white or yellow, to be clear).

Thanks for clarifying, Roberta.
I look forward to seeing  someone's changes for that type error.
