I wanted to share this photo of Robert Robinson with the community. Location: San Quentin, Marin, California, United States. Date: 9 Jul 1921.

Ray Robinson, a musician and burglar from Joplin, Missouri, is pictured here in his 1921 mugshot from San Quentin State Prison. At this time, Robinson had been convicted of burglary (1st degree). I colouized the photograph myself, using the descriptions from other correctional records (which describe him with blue eyes, auburn hair, and fair to ruddy skin)

Really, you’ve a nice job making Robert look like his description, though purists may disagree. Wish I still had that much hair.
