Sevier, Valentine was a Virginia Huguenot but not at Mankin towne, VA,  National Huguenot society had a Xavier / Sevier,Jean / John

Best thing to do is trace back  as far as possible and then search the Huguenot Societies. Not all names have been entered or accepted into these societies, mine aren't listed in the HS of America, but are in HS of Mankin VA and  National HS . Most membership  is based on those who submitted an application with proof.

Did they immigrate to the Americas? If so, where did they come in? New  York, Virginia, Canada???

The Yons were in Spanish Florida, in 1820, and paid taxes there, ie

book," Anglos who paid taxes to Spain"

Wow.  Shocking they weren't killed.  The huguenots on the boat that landed near St. Augustine were all killed. Do you know where they landed?

There has been a lot of research in the UK based on applications for citizenship by Huguenots.  This website would be a starting point: https://www.huguenotsociety.org.uk/
