How do I add a second spouse to the father & correct the mother of the son

Question

There are already entries for the father and son -- I am on the Trusted list so can make changes.  The spouse shown for the father is probably incorrect but is possibly a first wife.  She is almost surely NOT the mother of the son.  I want to add the son's mother but see no way to add a 2nd wife to the father.

If you go to the edit tab on the father, it will list all of his relations on the right hand side. Under his wife's name, there will be an option to add a spouse. Use this to enter the other wife. Make a note of her profile code. Now visit the edit tab for the son. Under his relations, find the mother. There is an option beside her name to edit her information. On that page, it asks if you would like to replace her with an existing WikiTree profile. Enter the profile code for the correct mother. Now your changes are complete!

My Edit page does not have a list of relations on the right hand side -- or anywhere else.  Odd!!

Hi Patricia. It looks like you're not on the Trusted List after all. This is a bit confusing for Open profiles. Anyone who has signed the Honor Code can edit Open profiles -- but you still need to be on the Trusted List to edit relationships. That's why if you look at http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Prickett-47&action=edit you won't see the edit relationship links in the right column.

Go to the person"s profile you want to change, and then select the edit tab. Make your edits.
