Is this her?

"United States Census, 1910," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MLSN-DSJ : accessed 29 June 2018), Lillie D Vann in household of Neal A Vann, Fayetteville Ward 2, Cumberland, North Carolina, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) ED 50, sheet 3B, family 66, NARA microfilm publication T624 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1982), roll 1105; FHL microfilm 1,375,118.

Does she have a profile here yet?  Are you looking for anything specific, or just whatever we can find?

Thank you very much.

I appreciate it.  This is definitely the one. She has recently been established as my paternal Grandmother.  I have been able to track her to Oklahoma, where she was entered into the Cherokee Census Roll in 1911. She then appears in Nova Scotia about 1924, married to a Rowland Abbott.

I am looking for any information on her, and especially any during those intervening years.

Good work, Herbert!

Something sideways here, DJ.  Here's the same Vann family (spelled Van, but all the same first names and similar birth years), still in Fayetteville in 1920:

"United States Census, 1920," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MZKP-2VM : accessed 29 June 2018), Lillie Van in household of Neil Van, Fayetteville Ward 2, Cumberland, North Carolina, United States; citing ED 54, sheet 1A, line 13, family 2, NARA microfilm publication T625 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1992), roll 1293; FHL microfilm 1,821,293.

Hi D J,

That record on FamilySearch is also linked to a profile of her on there:

https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LYGC-61Q

If you go to that link, there are other sources attached. Census records for 1920, 1930, 1940, and other records. Plus links to more family.

As always, be sure to verify the records on everyone.
Thank you.

Yes, I have ran across some of that before.

It also appears that Lillie is the name of the mother and a daughter.

Verification effort is why I am posting.

Thanks for the star, Eric!

DJ, I think you might have two or more Lillies conflated, sad to say.  Neal and Sadie's family didn't move to Oklahoma.  I'm looking at three Lillie Vann OK marriage records on Family Search right now.  One born 1903 marrying Walter Buckner in 1922; one born 1901 marrying Harrison Peters in 1918; one born (Lillian) 1908 marrying Henry B Morrison in 1932.  And a Lila Vann born 1901 marrying William Grimmett in 1924.  I haven't looked for Mrs Abbott in NS yet.

Any other info available to help narrow down which Lillie is yours?
