This is a first - two fathers in one profile!

Question

There are several Harding profiles that have been duplicated with the lines totally messed up.  In my review of a proposed merge, I discovered a profile , [[Harding-1034|Mary (Harding) Raynor]] which was linked to a broher, [[Harding-1036|William Harding]] who has the parents Harding-2015 and Unknown-213998.  But when I clicked on the profile Harding-1034, the profile shows a link to a father [[Harding-2866|William Harding]].  What in the world is going on?  Mary needs to be unlinked from Harding-2015, I believe, but I don't know how to accomplish that since her profile shows that her father is Harding-2866.  Help!!  I am going to continue working on the other profiles, but I hope someone can figure this one out.

I think I figured it out. Harding-2015 was showing as a half-brother of Harding-1034 yet there were NO parents in common. Harding-2015 's mother Stark-470 had a daughter which was linking across to Harding-1034, yet there were no connections on Harding-1034 's profile !

The answer was revealed by going into edit mode on Stark-470 and looking at the children. The one in question was actually Harding-1037 ( not 1034 ), yet she links to Harding-1034. It turns out that Harding-1037 was merged into 1034 on 28th April 2013, leaving the connection to Stark-470 intact.

I've removed Harding-1037 as a child of Stark-470. Please let me know if this has solved the problem.

Yay!  That did the trick.  She is no longer attached to Unknown Harding and Unknown Unknown!

Great ! I also had to remove Harding-1037 as daughter of Harding-2015 as well - she had been both half sister and daughter !
