problems with members

Can someone please make an adjustment to the problems with members or at least add a link after all the questions for someone to report their concern, I found it to be very high tech and not much help at all, I suppose if one is young or an IT. specialist then one could figure it out, but for us 50+ users it makes no sense at all. Thank you

Shaun,

What specifically are you finding difficult? also, there are links to the MIR form (which is what you use to report your concern) throughout the document.

In your age bracket,

Jillaine

Sounds like a good idea!  yes

Thanks, Herbert! (I can’t believe someone thought I actually had a good idea! A rarity.)
it kinda already is pretty flow-charty (in a text way). Are you suggesting a visual graphic flow chart?
Yup! That’s what I was thinking.

i see links throughout the entire document. where are you wanting them to be that they aren't already?
Thank you Jillaine, I really don't know what to tell you, maybe I was too angry to take the time to find my way around there and could not find where or how to lodge a complaint. I will have to take another look at it should I have a problem in the future. I guess people like myself tend to panic when things start happening with their profiles as did I. So I was just wondering if there couldn't be a simpler way like: "lodge your complaint" (Heres the link) and you tell your story and it's done.
Understood, Shaun. That makes a lot of sense.

And... my understanding is that Wikitree's "problem with members" process is intentionally designed to slow people down. For the very reason that it's all too easy to send off an angry complaint when we're in the middle of our reaction.  The MIR process forces us to slow down and hopefully calm down or at least reach a place where we have a calmer mind.

That can be frustrating in the moment, but overall probably a wise approach.

Thank you Jillaine, noted!wink
