Minnie / Amelia (Landow) Waterman 1835- Russia or Poland

Question

Earlist document so far is England census 1871, then U. S census 1880. Can anyone help locate her parents’ identities or details about her birth?

I saw your Post and I thought I could help. But since I don't have the Ancestry on my computer at home, well I had to go to Familysearch.com and see what I could find. I also went thru google.com and genealogyintimemagazine.

I am hoping that I have the right person who I believe is married to Solomon Watterman  and they were both born in Russia.  Minnie's name was also spelled Minnie Waterman,  As far as I know they also have 4 children. And they are:  Morris Watterman - age 9- born in Russia; Hannah Watterman- age 8 - born in Rissia -Leah Watterman age 4 born in     London.  and then Isaac Watterman age 1 year.  If this is not the right person you are needing then Please let me know and I will do more research. This is the 1871 Census England.    Thanks Nancy

Yes, that's her. I have 1871 England census and 1880 US census. What I'm looking for is her parents. I'm not sure where else to look.

I did more research on this and I hope I have most everything that you want. All except the marriage license. But I do know or it did say on their Family Tree Page that they did get married in Russia - Poland.  But I haven't been able to find it but I will keep searching.

Minnie Lauder Waterman--  Born 12 Aug 1832  Russia - died 28 Dec.1914- Manhattan, New York -------------- Bayside Cemetery- Ozone Park, Queens Co. NY  Find a grave memorial # is 122955257               She is the daughter of Solomon Lauder and Miriam Freed.  I will try to find the marriage license but I may have to do that at the library to obtain a copy.  Whenever you do research, try putting in the man's name first and just his name, his DOB, and where he was born, and where he lived,, Leave off any spouse. then gradually add the rest of the information. So, does this mean her LNAB is Lauder, not Landow? They definitely seem close enough to be mistaken for one another in cursive.

I finally had to add Ancestry to my computer at home, I was just not getting anywhere. So when I finally added ancestry to my computer then everything started coming together. I put in Solomon first and his death came and then all the children but I also went on to the family trees in Ancestry and found that he has already been worked . Then when I went to Find a grave, then I saw the spouse and then his parents and then I went to her grave and found her parents. But for some reason I could not get the marriage license. It told it somewhere that they married in Russia-Poland. But I am not sure where the records are kept. I did try to bring it up but it kept telling me no records.  And I believe that her last name is Lauder not landow. I think someone just misread it. That is understandable. If you need any other help just let me know. I have not done any research on the parents, but I am here if you need me. Nancy

Found her death record which also ties together her name as Lauder,  parents names and her married name. It all matches! Thank you so much!
