why when I try to add a link to a profile

Question

when I try to add a link to a profile it comes out red & I cannot get to link - what am I doing wrong .this is on profile Jolene Beaugh-21 where I am trying to add links for her -her  grandmother & grandfather from Find a Grave .

I think the problematic profile is Beaugh-29.

Martha, your Findagrave link goes to a (non-existent) WikiTree URL/page not a Findagrave memorial. You can correct that with the template in Bob's answer. Just remember to change the memorial number.

The number you have for Jolene's memorial is incorrect, though. Perhaps this is her memorial:

If so, this is the template code to use

You should also copy/paste the citation from her memorial to her profile, then add the template at the end. You will find the Findagrave citation near the bottom of her memorial.

Regarding the other red text in Jolene's biography, I'm not sure what you are trying to link in the biography, but I think you are using incorrect URLs/pages there, too.

You may need to allow someone access to Jolene's profile to fix those areas.

Sorry you're having trouble, Martha ... I added that Find A Grave template to the bottom of Joseph's profile ... have a look at that.
