I have been trying to solve the above question for years. While searching I have found a John M Linn in Franklin Twp. Adams County in the 1870, 1880 & 1900 census'. He reported to the census that he was born as were his parents in PA, In 1870 he said his PO address was Cashtown.

My Grandfather (1856--1922) married my Grandmother, 21 Feb 1902 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was in his forties while she was a teenager. We know of no known relatives of this man. I'm told that he said all of his relatives died in a influenza epidemic. Does his info ring a bell with any LINN researchers ??  John R Linn, 573 L'ombre Circle, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547   jlinnsr@cox.net  Cell phone: 850 / 585-5242   Thanks so much!!
