Question

Thanks so much for your help with Elston Iliffe. Elston was my uncle, although he passed away before I was born. I am relatively new to WikiTree and so could use some help with finding and posting appropriate source information and photos. Any pointers you could offer? Perhaps even a walkthrough on an individual or two that I have added. By the way, I am curious how you happened to come across Elston? Again, much appreciation!

Oh wow! Thanks for the kind words! I was taking part in the "Sourcerers Challenge" and trying to add sources to unsourced profiles. I have an Ancestry.com account and used it to search for Elston's information because it's pretty user-friendly for searching and Elston's name is pretty unique.  I'm happy to forward you some scans of the records if you can't access them easily!   And I appreciate the pat on the back, that was very nice!

Oh! And I came across your uncle's profile because it had an "unsourced" tag, and I was searching for those with Chicago in the biography. I live in Chicago so it seemed a good way to narrow down a large bale of hay. So in many way, I found him completely by accident!
