I have a few pensioner guards and warders who arrived in WA with their wives and children on board convict ships. I also have a convict in my tree. I added the convict to the list on the page concerning the ship he was on. But I can't find the ships Dudbrook and Racehorse for the others nor any example of documenting the guards and warders on a convict ship page.
Am I missing something? In WA coming here as pensioner guard meant the prospect of land to farm and convict labor to help with it. A huge step up from the pension they were to receive after the war. Knowing who they were and making that information easily accessible through ship listing pages and categories could provide invaluable info and context about an ancestor for a fellow family historian. It did for me.
Can anyone clear this up for me please? Have I overlooked these things or do they now exist?
