What needs to be done with (probably) living members of European aristocracy?

Prior to the implementation of the GDPR I adopted a family of open profiles of aristocrats so they wouldn't go unlisted without a profile manager. Now I find that they were all marked as having died, with no dates. I am concerned that these are living people, as they were born in the mid 1900's or later and I have not found death dates for them. At least one of them has a profile on Wikipedia, and all of them are listed on the website [[http://www.thepeerage.com/p3574.htm#i35735|ThePeerage]]. What should I do?

For any profile you (solely) manage and for which you believe the individual may be living, you should set the death date status to still living. You may also need to set the death location status to intentionally blank because still living. Of course, you should also remove any data in those fields, but I am presuming they are blank.

After you save your edits, the profile's privacy level will automatically change to unlisted.

That's my method, anyway!

Yes, that was also my method. There are really lots of profiles that were created by people raiding ThePeerage.com, and then orphaned with status artificially set as non-living.

These profiles should be unlisted like any profile for a living person. For those with a Wikipedia page it's a good idea to add the notables project account as co-manager too.

Thank you both for the guidance, I have made the changes you suggested. smiley
