Civil War category question [closed]

I have a profile for a Civil War veteran who served with the 2nd Arkansas Infantry Regiment (Union) and have NO idea how to categorize him.  Arkansas isn't listed as a Union state (since it joined the Confederacy), but it did have Union regiments.  Any clue is most gratefully appreciated.

Karen, if you pull down the Find>Search function in the upper right, go to the bottom "Search for any Text." Click the CATEGORIES radio button and type "arkansas union" in the search box, then click GO.

At the top of the list under the line is:

Category: Arkansas (Union), United States Civil War

Click it. There you have the list of the Union regiments.
