The story is that she married a catholic (Gabor) Nagy to escape. She's been listed as born in Hungary and Czechoslovakia. I can confirm her children, but not her lineage. Children were Gabor Nagy (aka Jaber, Jabor, Gabriel), Margaret and Helen. Helen is my grandmother's mother. Thank you so much.

Thank you all!  I will take a look. What I can confirm for 100% is that Helen Nagy married a Baird (which was a changed last name), who is my grandmother's mother. My grandmother is Beverly J. (Baird) Armstrong. The link from me to Beverly to Helen is 100% correct. The issue is the maiden name of Anna and her actual demographics. The story is that she became intentionally estranged for unknown reasons.

Based on the immigration dates and other information given in the census entries that Karen Tobo found, I think this is Anna's arrival:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JJDG-L46

The last residence and birthplace looks to be "Stoz". The closest actual placename to this is Stósz, which was a village in Abauj-Torna county, and is now Štós, Slovakia.

Based on that and the father's name of Tobias Dubrawski given on the manifest, I think this is Anna's baptism:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KHCG-MZ2

The date is off from what you have (born Jan. 13, baptised Jan. 15, 1890), but the names all match. (What is your source for the Aug. 15, 1891 birthdate?)

If this is the correct person, then she was Roman Catholic, not Jewish.

I hope we're not all going down the wrong road, because here's Anna's parents' marriage: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRQY-2RM?i=72&cc=1554443&cat=754718

Thank you for this. It's hard to tell. She's my wildcard and there are rumors of her reasons for estrangement - so who really knows.
