Her parents were Capt. Corbin Barnes and Mary Phinney, both of Plymouth. I know she died before 1832, as her husband Alden Lucas remarried in that year. But I cannot find any information about her death. I have emailed the clerk of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and they do not have her death record. Her husband, Alden Lucas, and her daughter, Elizabeth Lucas Gifford, are buried in New Bedford (I believe because Elizabeth moved to New Bedford as that was where her husband, John A. Gifford, was from). But Deborah Barnes doesn't seem to be buried there either (which actually makes sense, as Alden remarried and lived for many more years). Both Deborah and Alden are Mayflower descendants -- Deborah is a Warren descendant and Alden is a Chilton descendant among others.
