Ancestors in New England

Please include me in New England. I have 3 that came over on the Mayflower and many who came to the colonies. Most of my family went to Vermont, including Eddy, Parker, and Waite. All three were there several generations. I know Eddy and Parker are still there.

I am trying to join a group that is looking for folks who have lived in New England for at least one generation. I can't remember what the group is called and my message isn't getting where it belongs. Help
Maybe my brain read one thing and I thought another. Thanks for the replies.

Hi Claudia, I don't believe there is a project that covers exactly what you want, that is New England for at least one generation.

Mayflower Project mentioned in another answer covers Mayflower Passengers their children and grandchildren. You already belong to this project.

Puritan Great Migration Project covers immigrant ancestors, only, 1620-1640. If this is what you're looking for read the page carefully and follow the directions on the join post.

The Individual state projects cover individual states. And the US History Project umbrellas all the states.

I'm not sure what you mean, but you can add categories to individual profiles.  You should put the lowest level category that you can.  For instance in the profile that you provided (your father?), you could categorize him with his birthplace:

[[Category:Manchester, Vermont]]

You may be interested in the Mayflower Project:

They have a couple of templates to be placed on profiles (but only for actual passengers, not descendants):

{{Mayflower Passenger}}

There is a second Project Box for Mayflower Family Members (born before 1700):

{{Mayflower Family Member}}

Each New England state has a tag you can follow. But, like Lucy said you can join many groups that deal with New England itself.

These would be: PGM, Mayflower and several others. Good luck finding the project that best suits your needs. Here is a list of them:
