I have Quakers in my line and am a part of the Quaker Group. I was adding the old Quaker star but I understand that this procedure has changed and don't know how to [proceed tagging Quakers. Also when I began on wiki tree I added tags like: Quaker, Parker, Copeland etc. When I enter someone in my tree with Parker name or Copeland name or they are a Quaker am I supposed to add the matching tag to that person?

No, Charlotte, Tags are only added to members' profiles not our ancestors' profiles.

They allow you to follow surnames of interest, via Activity Feeds, so you can see when other members edit profiles with those surnames..

Tags also allow you to follow posts here in g2g.

Adding the Quaker star creates a list of profiles (on the image's edit page) to which that image has been added.

You added the star properly to these 2 profiles:

If the display is not as you intended or expected, let us know.
