Why is someone else listed as the manager of my personal profile?

Question

In the list of profiles under Prickett genealogy I am listed with someone else as the manager.

However, when I click on my link and am taken to the Profile page it lists me as the manager.  

What's going on?

Hi Patricia,

In some places on the site, it actually shows who created the profile, not the current profile manager. Shayne Davidson created your profile when she invited you. You are definitely still the manager of your profile! :)

Thanks, Lianne.  But I'm the one who created my profile.  Shayne knows nothing about me.

Looking at the history of your profile, it looks like Shayne did create your profile. See http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Hickin-11

Shayne created the profile Hickin-11, which was later merged into Prickett-120 (see http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Prickett-120 ), which is your profile. (It looks like that merge was you changing the last name at birth on your profile to your maiden name.)

The profile is created when you are invited, by the person doing the inviting. That's why Shayne "created" the profile. You can remove folks from your "trusted list" after you've signed up, from under the Privacy tab on your profile page.
