Looking for Ethel Lois Copus Butler [closed]

Ethel was born in Australia around 1889 and died in NZ in 1967.

She is supposed to be the granddaughter of John Howell - an early pioneer in New Zealand who founded the town of Riverton in Southland (NZ) and who was involved in Southland politics. John had at least 19 kids. His second wife was Caroline Brown (Part Maori) by whom he had 16 kids.

I cannot find most of the marriages for these 16 children in NZ, so they may have been married in Australia.

If anyone can find Ethel's parents and the connection to John Howell, I would be very appreciative.

Thank you
