What is the maximum number of characters for marriage place?

I am working on the Suggestions Report: 674 Marriage location too long

What is the preferred maximum number of characters?

The Help page for this Suggestion reads: For now MaxLength is bigger than 120 - Do these words mean a 674 Suggestion will be made if 120 is exceeded?

Do these words actually mean: The suggested Maximum number of characters used in the marriage place name is less than 120 ?

I have reduced one of the marriage places on the Suggestion List, and copied and pasted the full details that were in the marriage place to the Biography section, but before I do any more, I would like to know what exactly is the maximum allowed. I don't want to upset anyone.

Please do not leave comments or answers about what the marriage place refers to. I know this!

Looking at some of the Suggestions, clearly there's no actual limit.

Looking at the length is just a heuristic for finding some cases where inappropriate material has been entered.

This is just a guess, but I am thinking I read somewhere that the limit was 120 characters and that you should not use post codes/zip codes.

I very well could be incorrect, however.

I would think that there is no limit, as sooner or later, you would run into a merge with another manager - or at least that is the goal of WikiTree.
