Why did clock restart on merge into Perdue-8?

We've been trying to do a merge between Perdue-1067 into Perdue-8 since May 20.  It keeps getting rejected and restarted.  However, most recently, there is no record of it getting rejected and restarted, yet the clock was reset to being proposed on July 3 instead of most recent June 6 that should have been automatically approved by now.

Here is list of changes for Perdue-8.

Why is there no record of the June 6 merge being rejected nor a record any record of a new merge being proposed on July 3, yet the current merge is dated July 3?

Hi William,

I don't know for sure but I believe when a unmerged match is finally submitted again for a merge it's either 30 days or as soon as the profile managers agree to a merge.

For reasons unknown, this profile reset because of the edit that you did on July 3 https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Perdue-8&diff=68049703&oldid=65998267

Can someone investigate the bug?  Can the merge be cleared for go now?
