Looking for the Maiden name for Clara  she married Richard McCabe first reference I see of her is listed in the 1910 census for Richard McCabe

She is listed to be age 22 in the 1910 Census with a birth date of about 1888 her birth place appears to be New York with her Fathers Birth Place being New York and her mothers Birth place appearing to be canada. She married Richard about 1906

I do find a Clara E McCabe later around 1925 in Evanstone Illinois however not sure if this is the same person.

I found a Clara Decker McCabe that was born in 1888 in New York that married a Richard McCabe.  She died September 7, 1926 in Waterville, New York.  She had a child, Richard E McCabe that was born December 17, 1908 in New York and died September 7, 2000 in Liverpool, New York. He was married to a Margaret Tourney.

Don't know if this is who you are searching for.  Hope it helps.

Yes that's who I'm looking for is there any information on her parents. I have seen other spellings being Deckler. Although someone pointed out this source here before I just would like more clarity https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2Q47-K6W

I believe she had a son named Raymond not Richard is that correct?
You may be correct, Steve.  I do not have that information readily available.  I am sorry about that.

      Hi Steve.

The parents of Clara were Adolphus Laplant and Lucinda. Clara had an older brother named Fred. Lucinda (born in Canada) married later a Charles E Peck.

Here is your Clara in the 1900 US Census:

This confirms the info Eddie posted in comments.

According to the 1875 NY State Census and the 1880 US Census Adolphus was born in Canada as well.
