Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

I want to help contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree.

1.) Geographical region and time period:   England

2.) Some example names and dates:   Appleton

3.) Source(s) for my information on them:   family bible,  a book that was written by Mrs. Cook because they are Loyalists, Ancestry.com,  Find a Grave.com, family documents, other ancestors trying to complete the family tree, etc.

Before I get started adding and changing profiles, can you tell me if there is a WikiTree project that would cover these people? If so, how do I get in touch with the project members to coordinate and collaborate on the profiles?

The England project would probably cover them.  Here is the England Project page, which tells you how to contact:

Ros pointed you at the appropriate project of pre-1700 England. I'm more interested in the book you mentioned by Mrs. Cook. Do you have a citation for that one? I'm not familiar with it and have an interest in the Loyalists. There is also a project for those if you are interested.

Yes The book I referenced is titled The Beckstadt Family of Dundas County (Eastern Ontario) by G. Lynne (O'Brien) Cook and  James D Becksted II UE, dated July 1992, ISBN number # 0-921948-11-5
