Living in that part of Gloucestershire it might also be worth looking across the Bristol channel into Wales where the Addis name is quite common.

Thanks David, I had done that same search several times with the same 2000+ results. When I narrowed the search to Gloucestershire I found her marriage.  I’m still looking for her birth and death. I appreciate your help.

The three or four trees on Ancestry purporting to contain her are so much rubbish.

What is the evidence for William as a father? Isn't that confusing things?
