You should also look at Chatham County, Tatnall County, Bryan County and McIntosh County as these were all formed very early (especially McIntosh) and are near Liberty County.   Many settlers that migrated to the coastal area early-on came from South and North Carolina.

Littleberry Daniel.  He had a son named Angus Martin Daniel, who was my Great Grandfather.  Littleberry was my Great Great Grandfather.
