Can't add unrelated person

Sadly, the "I can't add new unrelated person"  bug continues.

I am using Safari and this happens at least once out of each ten attempts.   I can usually succeed by opening a new form and populating it directly with the data from the refused one.

Someone should be able to fix this but, so far as I can find, the "Best Answer" as been to abandon your attempt and start over.

As far as I am aware you will go on your profile at the top of the page and select Add, then scroll down to Person and it will then open a window for you to enter the information of the new person, be it related or not related.

I can't see how there can be any problem with this, unless of coarse I am missing something?

I think it's a timeout issue.  If it takes too long to enter the data, the Save feature fails although all the info stays on the screen.  If you open a new Add Person window, you can copy/paste all the stuff from the first attempt and Save it.

This is a first for me, but as you mention maybe it is the system you are using or your service provider, I do sometimes battle and then find it is due to poor service provider signal at the time, which i must add happens quite frequently.

Thanks for trying, Shaun, but as to your first answer, I think you are missing both the context of the question and my explanation.

I think that Herbert Tardy may be closest to the right explanation but if does seem to me that a 'timeout issue' could be corrected by programming in a reasonable amount of time.   It happens to me when I've taken no more than 2 to 3 minutes to make my entries.

Both system and service provider issues I think are addressed by how widely  and for how long the bug has been experienced by others..
