Question

Hello there! My name is Liam.

My three points of research are Hughes, Lappin and Betteridge.

HUGHES

I have only gone back one generation to my (step) great-grandfather, any further help would be gratefully welcome.

LAPPIN

I have only gone back three generation to my (step) 3rd great-grandfather, any further help would be gratefully welcome.

BETTERIDGE

As this is my family name, I have taken great care/been very lucky to have followed this to all the way to my 18th great-grandfather. Any interesting tid-bits ala Who Do You Think You Are would be gratefully welcome.

I know I've not posted much about any family listed, but can do so on request.

Welcome on board! I'm also in the UK! Wow, 18th GG is impressive! I'm sure when you start adding your family you will quickly connect to the wider tree!

Enjoy exploring wikitree! Its a bit of a learning curve but you are a good few years younger than me so I'm sure you'll have no problems exploring! Any assistance needed, just ask! We are all happy to help :-)

Lizzie and I found out we are related when she joined WikiTree so proving how good it is for cousin connections.
