Please check this profile for me

This is the one of the husbands of the unknown orphaned profile that I adopted. I can not go any farther. Should I leave it the way it is and orphan it again and hope someone can improve it. I wrote as much of a bio that I could. Please tell me if anything needs fixed. There is 2 death dates for him. His FAG says he died 31 Mar. then the obit under his memorial on FAG says 1 Apr. Not sure what to do with that.

I think you did very well with the profile.  I would just expand on your note about the two different dates of death and state where you found them.  It is also probably that one date was the date of death and the other was the date of burial.

And since I am a little bit of a nit-picker, you could also put a bullet point (*) in front of the pension files source just to line it up nicely.

I would agree with Lucy. You did well
The thing is that it says he was released from POW camp on 1 Apr.

Thank you for the wonderful review.

There is a possibility that Simon did pass away on 31 Mar 1865 while still a POW and his body was released on 1 Apr 1865 and sent back to Ohio for burial. Do you know which POW camp he was taken to after capture? This is just another possibility. The adding information to a profile like this a wonderful thing, thanks for taking the time to "Honor a Civil War Veteran".

According to the bio on his FAG memorial He was taken prisoner on January 11, 1865 at Beverly, West Virginia. He died at home on Apr 1. I know you can't believe everything you read. That's why I am questioning this, there has been some misinformation some where. If only there was a death certificate.
