GEDCompare has Suggested Match to already Matched/Merged Profile

Hi, I am adding information from my GEDCOM, I have one profile, Amelia Jessup (nee Peirl) that is matched to the original of the same name, Peirl-3, but in my GEDCompare list  there is another suggested match, Peirl 16, which is the same individual.  I applied for a Merge of Peirl-16 into Peirl-3 as per the guidelines, and after 30 days I was able to complete the Merge myself, however in my GEDCompare list my profile of Amelia Peirl is still coming up as Matched to Peirl-3 but with Suggested Match to Peirl-16, even though Peirl 16 has been merged with Peirl-3.  How do I solve this?

If you look right at the very bottom of the GEDcompare page you'll see a button that says 'Refresh suggested matches'. Clicking that should fix the problem, but be warned that it takes a while and will probably bring up lots of new false positives if you have people in your tree with common names.

Otherwise, just mark as a rejected match to the profile that has been merged away.

That won't make the suggested match for the merged profile go away. (I know this from experience.) Just mark the suggested match as a match.
