I've got quite a few!  the earliest one being Lewis Bright (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bright-2513) who came to North America to fight in the revolutionary war and settled in York in the early 1800s.  Also all of his descendants.

Hi and my Great-Grandmother was Charlotte Jane Bright who was born around 1845 in Banbridge, County Down, married Samuel Preston and died in 1918 also in Banbridge, County Down, Ireland.

Yes I too have Brecht/Bright ancestors dating back to the 1400 in Germany. The Bright surname goes back to the mid 1700's in Augusta, Berks Columbia, Lebanon and Montour counties.

Not directly related, but I do manage some Bright profiles that are ancestors to a first cousin once removed. I've been researching for her and her children. I'll check your name study. :)
