PPP needs connection to parents' profiles

+7 votes

The project-protected profile for Drucilla (McBrayer) Green has her parents named in the Biography section. The profile is part of the Southern Colonies project.

Her parents have existing profiles on WikiTree (and are also project-protected), and should be connected.

Father: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McBrayer-44

Mother: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Webb-4268

Getting her profile connected also helps the McBrayer Name Study project.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

So that everyone is clear, the parents listed above did NOT have a child name Drucilla.   There were a lot of errors, and Find A Grave is the source for all the errors.

This profile is conflated, ie, it is a mixture of two women.

1) Drucilla Mc Brayer who was born about 1755 and married Major William Green.   https://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=irisheyes&id=I08103

2) Drucilla McBrayer, daughter of William Mc Brayer and Drucilla Green, born 7 MAR 1840 in Rutherford County, North Carolina and married William Henry Harrill.    https://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=irisheyes&id=I08362

Most of the sources shown on the page are for #2, with the exception of Find a Grave.

I have sent the profile manager a note.

Thanks for helping to figure this out, Robin!
I talked to the profile manager and I will be "fixing" all  of this....

If the birth dates are even close to being correct for these individuals then those cannot possibly be her parents as they were both born many years after she was.

Thanks for catching that, Deb!

I suppose one shouldn't WikiTree when tired and time to go to bed. ;-)

Drucilla McIntyre/McEntire McBrayer/McBrier was married to William McBrayer son of David and Delilah/Delila Webb McBrayer of Cleveland County, Boiling Springs NC. Drucilla (ID # 83681604 with Fine A Grave) was the daughter of James and Lucretial ( Gregory) McIntyre. Drucilla and William had a daughter they named Drucill "Precilla" McBrayer that David and Delila raised after her mother Drucilla McBrayer died and her family remarried and moved to Georgia. Their daughter did not want to move with her boy's so her and her older sister Leah McBrayer Harrill stayed in NC. Robert McBrayer son of David and Delila McBrayer had a daughter named Drucilla "Precillia" McBrayer ID #35067611 on fine a grave ( for which I'm a contributor with FAG too and have contributed to this line in question) who married a Joseph McSwaim Green and is buried in the family cemetery in Cleveland Co, Boiling Springs NC.

I'm a direct descendant from this line and take care of the cemetery at this moment.

I've wrote to the manager of the Memorial in question and was giving a line they did not create this Memorial he only manages it take it up with FAG which does nothing about it. So I've been spending time in Boiling Springs countless hours locating records which I'm still organizing to publish my findings on the matter.

One thing you must take into consideration is the spelling of the names I've listed and separate them Parks can you come up with your answer

Now this Drucilla Green who supposed to had been buried in the family graveyard in Bostic which is burnt down. I can't verify her at the moment but still working on her. Is not a daughter of David she was supposed be born like 25 years before David her father's birth is impossible.

So here lines the impasse who do you believe or better yet what's your DNA say?
