How does one correct an email address for a Family Member who no longer has access to that email address?

How can I as the originator of my Family tree change the email address for a Family Member. Essentially the person no longer has access to the original email address.

Secondly, is it possible for me to remain as joint Profile Manager as I have noticed that in the few cases where I have inserted an email address I am restricted from making certain changes.

For clarity, nobody removed me as Profile Manager. Only 3 individuals out of 900 plus have email addresses. In all cases I have restricted access.

Hi Errol,

The changing of an email address can only be done by a profile manager of the profile

On the profile in question there is only 1 Profile manager that being Caryl.

You would have to have Caryl login to her account and update the email address.

To change your e-mail address click to the edit page of profile, change the E-Mail Address field, and save your changes. You will need to click the save button twice because the first time a pop-up will ask you to confirm the change. Note that your e-mail address is your WikiTree login

If she don't know her password she will have to contact info@wikitree.com and they will be able to change the email address on file.

If she would like you added as a profile manager she would have to follow the directions listed

To add managers to an existing profile:

1. Click the Privacy tab on the profile.
2. In the "Add to Trusted List" section, enter a user's email address and press "ADD THIS PERSON."
3. In the "Trusted List" section, select the link for the desired user to "Add as Manager."

Thank You. Just one question? Caryl no longer uses here gmail address and it's is no longer active. Will the gmail address still be her login to Wikitree?
