PPP is a Project Protected Profile. You can read about them here. This has nothing to do with the privacy restrictions for living people who are non-members or the age for living child profiles.

No, PPP is Project Protected Profile which is when a special project protects a profile from changes. No children under 14 except those of your own should be put on WikiTree and all others were deleted when the rules went into effect.

Thanks to both of you for this answer.  Will go and read that bit shortly.

In general, No.  Nothing to do with PPP, as others have said.  Living non-members have to be Unlisted regardless of age.  A member over 13 can choose to have a Public profile.

My understanding - please correct if wrong.

NO sorry.

Basically anyone who has a profile and is currently alive and is NOT a member of Wikitree, then their profile will stay unlisted until after they have died.

Then their profile has to be manually reactivated by the profile manager - which is simple to do. Just add a date of death - and a source. That's all.
