Alice Skinner's parents

Question

Hey!

A cousin put me on the right track to eliminating this brick wall I have with Alice Skinner. She was born August 24th, 1730 and died on her birthday on August 24th, 1767. She was born in Lynn and died in Malden. She married Aaron Bucknam and had a bunch of kids.

The parents are supposedly Richard Skinner (1706-1737) of Marblehead and Martha Burrill (1707-1759)  Marbelhead and Malden are 7 miles apart so courting and moving would have been easy.

What I need is something that shows Alice's birth. Everything checks out and a cousin who did research showed me North America Family histories. I was hoping for something a bit more concrete before I add in the parents.

Can someone help me out?

Yeah.  Familysearch is where I got the info in the first place. I may have found the mother's birth but it seemed to cause an error. Marriage before birth and such. In this case it's birth before mother could have children.

Update: Got some more help from a friend. Will be building up a tree as much as I can in a bit. =D

Thanks go out to Erica Howton of Geni and Steve Tibbetts. Found as much as I could. Left some people blank as I was unsure. But, that's what I have so far. The FS version of this tree is a mess.

I often use Family Search and Geni trees not as gospel truth but for hints on sources and a possible direction to look. Sometimes even wrong info can lead you to right info easier than no info can.

Of course. Though in this case the tree on Familysearch had Ebenezer married to his mom. The younger Ebenezer, I mean. The father wasn't in the picture. Had to fish for him.

This tree however is as legit as it gets thanks to Erica.

She sourced it on all the profiles there pertaining to the Skinners and their families. There are some spouses missing but that's because data in Marblehead is hard to come by.
