What is known about Tarchee of the Cherokee Bird Clan?

In our ongoing effort to clean up the profiles of Native Americans, we seek documentation for the existence and relationships of various individuals.  What do we know about this one?

The only sources I could find in the Net were repeated links to genealogy websites.

Keep and detach but link to from narrative of closest real person. This prevents (or at least discourages) recreation of them.

While in the area, what's the category "Family of Powhatan"?  There seem to be a lot of Cherokees in it, considering Powhatan wasn't Cherokee.  Did a descendant marry a Cherokee?

Thanks, RJ.  We're in the process of reviewing that category, too.  (We = NA project). It is highly problematic.

I’m building a spreadsheet with all those people so they can be corrected.  Only about 30-40 seem to actually be connected to Powhatan.  Some are Cherokee but many are either mythical or white.
