Who was the wife of George Lowery?

Question

This profile claims, without source, that he was married to a specific Native American woman, and a documented daughter of documented Cherokee Oo Loo Tsa.

What is the evidence or documentation supporting this relationship? Thanks.

James Hicks claims with ZERO documentation that Nannie was the daughter of Trader/Interpreter John Watts.

Kathryn, should Nannie's LNAB then be Cherokee and not Watts? We have several duplicates of her.

We currently have Ghi-go-ne-li (#1; mother of Nannie) as married to Kenoteta (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kenoteta-1) and therefore showing up as Nannie's father. Any source for this? Or is this Internet-mythology at work as well?

I think this may be generational confusion as well as speculation. James Hicks states that Nannie’s sister Ghi go ne li married a man named Rising Fawn (Kineteah) based on a very convoluted reading of Norton’s Journal).  I don’t find Kineteah other than in Norton.  Hicks lists the Caty/Catherine who married John Gunter as "Catherine Risingfawn."

Sorry I was not more clear.  There was a man by this name, but it's uncertain whether he belongs to this family.  If he does, he's attached to the wrong woman, should be with Ghi go ne li the daughter, not the mother.  I'll remove him with a note.

If you follow this link and go to page 200 you you'll see  Major George Lowery was married to Lucy Benge when he was about 21 years old. This is late 1700's.  My ancestors are the Gunter's for which Guntersville (Gunter's Landing), Alabama was named.  Our history is intertwined with the Lowery's.  Anyway I hope this is what you were looking for.  I know this is an old post but I am new here and doing what I can to help.

George the son was married to Lucy Benge, his father George was married to Nannie LNU.
