Should we add this to the Ambassadors project?

Hey Ambassadors :)

I've been toying around with an idea to help us get more Ambassador activity.

I've been thinking about adding a "gamifying" aspect to the project. If you weren't interested in participating in it you could keep on ambassadoring as you usually do.

But I was thinking of something like... assigning points to types of ambassadoring. Like so many points for sharing something on social media with our hastag or so many points for a blog post about WikiTree, etc. You could earn points and when you reached a certain amount you'd level up. We could have a handful of levels and we could have a sticker you could add to your profile that shows what level you are at. Sort of like what the bio builders do.

What do you think? Would you participate? Could be fun.

Sorry, but that would probably make me less inclined to do any ambassadoring. I already think that Wikitree has too much focus on point scoring. It would also have a negative effect with respect to many of my English and Norwegian genealogy friends if they were to see it. It is difficult enough to persuade them to join when they see all of the point systems on here. If they thought I was getting points for trying to enlist them quite a few them who may be considering it could be chased away.
