Hi, I am searching for the marriage of catherine fahy and simon griffin. she was born around 1747-50 in either Cork or Tipperary. they definitely had a child named Michael who was born in Cork in 1763. I checked my gedmatch against yours and yes we have a match at 7 centimorgans. I know its a long shot but I can't find it anywhere? Any ideas? Thank you in advance, Melanie loveridge

Found birth of Michael Grifiin,Father Simon, mother Catharin Fahy, does not

note date birth, born on Cork and Ross Diocese,

where did they later live.
Thanks for your help. That's the trouble I don't have any more info. Completely stuck after the initial link. But thanks.
After extensive research of the Giffin/Griffin line, and thompson, I now am certain that Simon Giffin from Massachussets originally from Ireland, and his father Simon from Scotland was the father of Michael Griffin. I believe he came over to Ireland, met Catherine Fahy, had a relationship and got her pregnant. Then went back to America.

I have Thompsons and Fergusons also in my Tree. Which seem to match up with Simon Giffins family.
