Looking for Peleg Greene of Westerly, RI

Question

Hello, I'm looking for my 4th ggf Peleg Greene who was the father of Sarah Greene who was born in North Stonington, CT. According to Sarah's marriage record, her dad Peleg was a resident of Westerly. I do not know whether he was born in RI, or in Connecticut, where he died, what from or who he even married. It appears he had two other daughters b. 1831 ca.

I have a Paleg Greene, father of Sarah Green when she married Charles Cotterell on 10 Dec 1851 in Rhode Island. ~ "Rhode Island, Marriages, 1724-1916"

 

I also have a Paleg Greene, aka Benjamin Greene, in the "United States Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Applications, 1800-1900" Pension Number W. 13314 with Sarah Greene of Rhode Island listed as the Pensioner.

 

A Peleg Greene fathered an unnamed baby girl with a Cynthia Palmer in Bristol, Rhode Island on 15 Feb 1856 ~ "Rhode Island, Births and Christenings, 1600-1914"

 

Could Peleg's Wife (Sarah's Mother) have been named Lucy? I have a Peleg Greene born 15 April 1752 in Coventry, Kent, RI married to a Lucy born in 1756 with a daughter Sarah born in 1786 but it does not say where she was born. For this one, Peleg's father was named Timothy Greene and his mother was Silence Rowland BURLINGAME.  They were married 22 September 1751 in Greenwich, Kent, RI.  If this one sounds good to you, I will have to access the information myself and send  it to you.  It is in an ancestral file database that you need permission to access.  Let me know.

 

I don't know how old you are so I cannot guess as to a correct date. Hope something here clicks for you.

Pelegs wife was Lucy and they had a son peleg Jr which is my dad's father's father. It goes Warren greene my dad, his dad Arlie greene his father James and his father was peleg jr and pelegs father is peleg green

Would your line descend from the de Greenes - French royal lineage?  I am a descendent of that line through my father's family.  If so, I would love to compare notes.

But Sarah Jemima Greene who married Charles Cottrell was born around 1837.  So the dates don't line up right.  I've been trying to find their death records for over 20 years now.  My Grandmother was a Cottrell and this is her Great Grandparents.

The Peleg Greene that I am looking for was married to Sarah Austin. They had several children named Tacy Ann, Mary Esther, Abbie, Sarah Jemima b. 1837 who married Charles Cottrell. This is the line I am looking for. If anyone has any information on this line, I would be happy to share notes.
