I have linked your grandfather’s profile to your question to make it easier for anyone who wants to help you. You can do this yourself on future questions by putting the Wikitree id for the profile into the box under the main question box.

Hi,

Family Tree Sources for their marriage in 1942 in Dublin South.

"Ireland Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYKZ-RZ9 : 10 March 2018), MARRIAGES entry for Christopher Carroll; citing Dublin South, Oct - Dec 1942, vol. 2, p. 389, General Registry, Custom House, Dublin; FHL microfilm 101,578.

"Ireland Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYK7-NTL : 10 March 2018), MARRIAGES entry for Margaret O'Rourke; citing Dublin South, Oct - Dec 1942, vol. 2, p. 389, General Registry, Custom House, Dublin; FHL microfilm 101,578.

You may be able to order the certificates to obtain their parents names if you are unable to find any further information for them.

thanks very much mate

A rough year of birth for your grandparents would be useful. Also useful would be a list of their siblings especially if one of them married before 1942.

BTW Noel John Carroll died on 3rd January 1945 - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1945/04629/4229422.pdf & "Ireland Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F1HT-R38 : 10 March 2018), BIRTHS entry for Noel J Carroll; citing Dublin South, Oct - Dec 1944, vol. 2, p. 773, General Registry, Custom House, Dublin; FHL microfilm 101,236.

Christopher Carroll died on 5th February 1946 - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1946/04609/4222385.pdf &

"Ireland Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F1Z4-W8J : 10 March 2018), BIRTHS entry for Christopher A Carroll; citing Dublin South, Jan - Mar 1946, vol. 2, p. 780, General Registry, Custom House, Dublin; FHL microfilm 101,237.

Thanks mate. My grandfather was born on either March 19 or 26 1919 and married in 1942. My grandparents also loved over in either kent or Cambridge England. My grandmother had 2 brothers CHRISTOPHER O'ROURKE & PADDY O'ROURKE. Their son WILLIAM PATRICK CARROLL was born on JULY 10th 1948 in RADCLIFFE OXFORD OXFORDSHIRE UK

1919 is a tricky year either:

Better still, the Irish Government should publish the 1926 census.
