Less boring Presidential names

Sometimes, after a long period looking at early New England forenames, I feel bad that we Americans never had a Nehemiah, or Consider, or Shearjashub as president.  (Thank heavens for Judge Learned Hand!)  

I thought a lot of these names might have been too long. "Three syllables?  Bah!  I don't have energy to remember that!"  But then I found this article saying that for surnames, at least, longer is better


Maybe they were just too hard to spell at the ballet box.  ("Nehe... Nehi... Neht gonna get my vote!")

President John Jumpin' Jehoshaphat has a nice ring to it, husband of First Lady Wewahitchka. Yes, much more interesting.
