Should John Hodges be PGM?

Although the profile birthdate differs, [[Hodges-360|John Hodges]]/[https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hodges-360] is clearly the John Hodges noted by Anderson in "The Great Migration" (Vols. I-III, pp. 962-963) [https://www.americanancestors.org/DB393/r/1415514856] (subscription required); emigration 1633.

Related (ancestral) question: any help in supporting or refuting the long family tradition that John may have been the father of [[Hodges-1247|George Hodges]]/[https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hodges-1247] would be welcomed.

Added PGM - needs bio to his profile.  This profile needs serious work.  Parents LN Twigg are probably incorrect and should be removed.

Thanks, Chris.  Yes, the profile seems extremely strange and it's hard to imagine where that alleged parentage came from.  Almon Hodges & co., writing in the 1890s, note in their "Genealogical record" of the family ([https://archive.org/stream/genealogicalrec01unkngoog#page/n43/mode/1up Genealogical record of the Hodges family of New England], p. 9) that in the early 1650s, John "disappears without leaving any record of his birth, parentage, or family" other than the family tradition -- also noted in the "record" -- that he was a brother of Richard and of William (of Taunton).  I will keep researching this; there's at least a decent chance that John is an ancestor of my family.
Some followup: I've messaged the profile manager in hopes of getting some explanation of the... unique... parentage -- and also, some documentation for the assignment of Thomas Hodges I as a son.
... and I've now created a basic bio for him, based on Almon Hodges' "record" and on Anderson, and questioning both his claimed parentage and status as father of Thomas Hodges I.  I do not have a paid Ancestry subscription so cannot trace the bewildering array of listed sources, almost all of which appear to be ancestry trees.
