Cindy Lesure is a Wonderful WikiTreer

Question

Cindy welcomed me when I first joined, then followed up about a week later to ask how I was doing and if I needed help. I told her I was having trouble with formatting sources and she gave me some links to help with that. Part of the problem seems to be that the link in wikitree to Evidence Explained doesn't work, but when I typed evidenceexplained.com into my browser, that didn't work either so it's not a problem in wikitree. My understanding is that some of the specifics of formatting sources may be there so I've been a little lost. I found the help section in wikitree confusing. Cindy sent me a link to JillaineSmith's dream source page and it is easier to understand with specific examples of how the text looks in the editing page versus the public profile page. Thank you Ann for your post and your kind words!  I believe that a thanks goes to Jilliane Smith as well!!  She created that wonderful page for all of us to use and I think it is a wonderful tool.  I am so glad that you were able to use that to help your understanding.  Mostly, I want to tell you that I really appreciate you as a new member because every new person I greet gives me more than they ever know.  Thank you for that as it makes my WikiTree work so very rewarding and so very fulfilling!
