My brother's daughter asked to be added to my trusted list.  She cannot get into it and asked how to access it. Peet 496

Evelyn, the way it works is that a profile manager (presumably you) can add another member to the trusted list for a profile.  The new trusted list member will be able to edit the profile, regardless of its privacy level.  There is nothing to get into - the trusted list is simply displayed on the Privacy tab and managers can edit it.  It sounds like what she wants to "get into" is a particular profile ... in fact, it sounds like she wants to be added to the trusted list for YOUR OWN profile, which is something you might not want to give her full access to ... then again, you might ... it's up to you!

To add someone to the trusted list of a profile you manage, click the Privacy tab and scroll down past all the privacy levels to see the trusted list section.  You will be able to enter the email address of another WikiTree member to add that person to the trusted list.  After they are on the trusted list, you will also have the option to make them a manager - a profile can have several managers.

Over under "Collaboration" in the right column she can request to be added to your Trusted list. Then you need to give permission by going to "My WIkiTree" in the top line and selecting "Requests" in the list. Then you will see the request and you can approve it.

Just a reminder that people have to added to each profile that is requested. You cannot request access to one person and expect to be given access to their parents and children automatically.
